My original idea consisted of an screen split into thirds. Each section, when clicked on made a different soundshape. The sound shapes would then repeat every 10 seconds, and each soundshape would stop repeating after 5 plays.
There were a few problems with this concept.
There is a large restriction on user interactivity and ease of use.
So I went back to the drawing board and mindmapped
I have decided to take inspiration from the bouncing balls video shown to the class, but add in user interactivity like
- 3 balls start in the void
- When the ball touches a wall/ground, It will produce a chime sound
- The distance the ball is from the mouse determines the sound volume
- A bass sound will play when the balls collide
- The balls will oppose the mouse.
